Cross-Pacific Passion, a book of poetry that my wife and I wrote each
other before I moved to Australia to be with her, is now available in
a number of online bookstores. They include:

http://www.amazon.com/Cross-Pacific-Passion-Melanie-Shambat/dp/145351...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field...

Illustrated by Melanie Shambat, the book makes a perfect romantic
gift.

I'm sorry not to have impressed you more. I'll try harder this year,
I promise. It really galls me to see Will get so much credit,
considering who he is and all. I mean and intend no disrespect, but I
think it a simple matter of self-evident fact that I am far more
dishonest than Will Dockery is in almost every way imaginable. The
only difference is that I'm obviously a great deal more articulate
than he is, which one would think should work in my favor relative to
providing evidence of my blatant dishonesty. Apparently it doesn't
work that way. I mean, look. You probably even believe what I just
wrote, and if you don't, what do you think that says about you?
There's some real points to consider here, although it may take a
while to untangle the gobbledygook of unrestrained honesty... and, as
the wise man said
"The best crooks are the ones who approach it as an honest living..."
How would you know
How about you?
I make six figures.
Congratulations!

Not so fast. I make upwards of seven figures, but I wouldn't want to
have to tell you specifically how many figures my figures have to
support, but which mention nonetheless show relevance to the extent
that it suggests relativity with respect to the relatives I have
working for me, all of whom do very well, in part because we maintain
and present such a strong and cohesive family friendly environment in
the workplace.

It's neither fabulous, nor worthy of any particular congratulations,
Will. It's just a projection; how well my company expects to do based
on how well we did last and previous years; the current economic
climate; and the prospects and potential for growth this year.
Basically, we've done okay, we do okay, and all indications are that
we'll probably be okay. Nobody said anything about getting rich
here. I'm definitely not getting rich here.

You say kudos and I think responsibility. In my business, you may be
known by your body of work, but you're still only as good as your last
gig. Keep up the good work is a challenge to continued success. The
difference between okay and not okay is measured by one's perception
of three independent characters joined for the sake of mutual purpose
&growth, and those three characters comprise what we in the business
call 'business ethics'.

I think you meant to say '... not that you need me advising you on
your situation any more than I need your advice for mine.'

You may not need my advice on your situation, but you certainly appear
to need somebody's advice on how to write better, because although you
generally write well enough to convey meaning, you don't write well
enough to call yourself a writer of any merit which is what a poet
would be if one were to consider oneself a poet in order to provide
substance, and meaning to the word as a matter of pride, dignity, and
self-respect. If you think I've suggested anything other than simply
that you need help, you're mistaken, and also need remedial reading
lessons as you learn to write better, which is what this group can
provide you if you would only allow these smart people to help you. I
am not the only smart person here. The smartest person in any crowd
is defined as the smartest person in any crowd by both the service of
the crowd by the person, and the service of the person by the crowd.

If I get more out of this than you do, I win. It's that simple.

Agreed, we all could stand to get a little better with our writing,
and here's hoping that 2011 will be the year we all become better
writers!

If anyone out there cares to check out some of my writing and offer

Of course that's what "we all" come here for, with the suggestion
being that we all come here to learn from one another. Part of
learning is understanding where and when you stand in either the
teacher or student position. In most cases, you don't appear willing
to accept the subordinate position, and don't seem to learn much from
your exchanges and engagements with other people here based on the
fact that you keep doing and saying the same things over and over
again with little evidence of productive result.

I'm happy to offer comments, critique and advice as I have above.
Your link doesn't make me happy, so I've simply edited it out of my
post. I'm not happy to include links in my posts to work that I
consider meritoriously inferior. No offense to you; I just wouldn't
want anybody else to get the wrong idea. If you'd like comments on
something you're working on, post it and I'll try to help where I
can. If all you want is to use me as a sounding board to promote
yourself and your projects, you can do that too, but it won't make me
very happy unless we have some sort of agreement in principal prior to
your doing so.

You've been caught snipping, moving text from posts around to other posts

I'm not even going to talk aout your lack of child support, lack of a job

you really need to straighten out your life.

No wonder Kluckles LiesLots likes you, he's actually got someone to feel

think it a simple matter of self-evident fact that I am far more

only difference is that I'm obviously a great deal more articulate
than he is, which one would think should work in my favor relative to
providing evidence of my blatant dishonesty. Apparently it doesn't

Or something like that.
For someone who's all about giving credit where due, I have no idea
who the wise man quoted may be.

I know that Bertrand Russell said that life is nothing but a
competition to be the criminal rather than the victim, so maybe that's
what you were thinking of, but he also said that the trouble with the
world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of
doubt, and that all movements go too far, so I better stop right here
before I say something he shouldn't have, because if he did, I'm not
sure how I'd feel about it.

For someone who's all about giving credit where due, I have no idea
who the wise man quoted may be.
I'll be getting back to that soon, this was something I discussed with
my Uncle Rick a while back, the guy attributed with saying something
like this turns out to have copped the thought from an earlier,
similar quote/thought.

I know that Bertrand Russell said that life is nothing but a
competition to be the criminal rather than the victim, so maybe that's
what you were thinking of,
I'll be looking, pretty sure it wasn't B.R. who I referred to, I know
one but not the other, earlier one.

Indeed, great to have you here adding some content to this so-far
vapid thread... poor Cujo just ain't firing on much for the new year.

I wouldn't be so sure about that if I were you according to B.R., but
I'll stop there unless you've got something else to add about my
friend, Cujo, who I just so happen to agree with on just about
everything he's said about you, except that I obviously like you a lot
more than he does, apparently.

Will is the most dishonest poster I know of. Been that way for many
years.

I'm sorry not to have impressed you more.  I'll try harder this year, I
promise.  It really galls me to see Will get so much credit,
considering who he is and all.  I mean and intend no disrespect, but I
think it a simple matter of self-evident fact that I am far more
dishonest than Will Dockery is in almost every way imaginable.  The
only difference is that I'm obviously a great deal more articulate than
he is, which one would think should work in my favor relative to
providing evidence of my blatant dishonesty.  Apparently it doesn't
work that way.  I mean, look.  You probably even believe what I just
wrote, and if you don't, what do you think that says about you?
There's some real points to consider here, although it may take a while
to untangle the gobbledygook of unrestrained honesty... and, as the wise
man said
"The best crooks are the ones who approach it as an honest living..."
Or something like that.
You aren't the best of anything. I didn't call you a crook. I said that
you were the most dishonest poster I know of. An opinion that is shared
by many. If you can't deal with that, tough shit.

Really? I was always taught the other way round, like in the Bible
where it says that it doesn't really matter what you are, cab driver,
computer tech, pizza boy, although I don't recall those specific
occupations being biblical. Basically it says that it's who you are
that matters, not what. Maybe I'm thinking of Dr. King when he said
he had a dream about one's content of character being what's
important. Nevermind, I'll figure out who said what eventually, or I
won't. Either way, my figuring is none of your concern. Thanks, and
have a great day.

I'm aware that you claim that's your opinion, but it will remain your
opinion since you don't have any proof to back it up, right?

Obviously you're too fucking st0000pid to understand how transparent you
are to anyone with a decent newsreader that threads. You really don't know
what the purpose of the references header is in a post.

A hell of a lot smarter than you. Not that it's saying a lot, mind you. An
Albanian slime mold has you beat for intelligence.

I could train a retard to do a better job of evasion than you. Your clumsy
attempts at denial of what you are is almost comical if it weren't for the
fact that you've harmed others with your self-indulgent idiocy.

Just going by what he's been posting here, in my opinion, y'know.
In my opinion, he made an astute observation to the effect that you
interject cut and pasted material in such a way as to confuse
threads. Basically, he said you're disorganized, and it looks to me
like he's right, but I don't know you any more than he does.

I don't know who cares about that, but I can assure you I don't. You
can repost it a thousand times, and I still won't care about the
content you're trying to present so long as you continue to present it
in the manner you do. It's offensive to me.
