From straight out of Cleveland [or wherever but mostly from Cleveland
and other trad. parts of O-hi-o] comes a "free verse" as regards the
true import of Spinoza's *Ethics*: you read it in *Latin* and it makes
you "worthless". /For reals/, specifically "for reals". Really, /like
that/, but I mean, hey --

----

SPINOZAE ETHICA ["God in several 'persons' brings you Dutchies 'some
shit' as per request"]
ORDINE GEOMETRICO DEMONSTRATA ["Lik-a clockwork, fags"]
ET IN QUINQUE PARTES DISTINCTA ["Did manage to work it in -- CHECK IT
OUT"]

PARS PRIMA ["Seriously --- not sure why I go on But YOU'LL CARE NOT"]

DE DEO ["Of God --- LOOK WHERE YOUR 'INTENTUM' IS"]

DEFINITIONES [Definitions]

I. Per causam sui intelligo id cujus essentia involvit existentiam
sive id cujus natura non potest concipi nisi existens.

["Because I feel like it here is some NON-SENSE as regards How I Do
It /n'at/; the natural order has MIRABILE DICTU left me a-live at Just
this Seconde, and your idea "just doesn't cut it" in Alte Parlanz".]

II. Ea res dicitur in suo genere finita quæ alia ejusdem naturæ
terminari potest. Exempli gratia corpus dicitur finitum quia aliud
semper majus concipimus. Sic cogitatio alia cogitatione terminatur. At
corpus non terminatur cogitatione nec cogitatio corpore.

["This of which I speak in "generic" -- generic terms *has as limits*
the /ultimate boundary/ of natural powers. E.g., *bodies-which-talk*
[!!] and eventually /end/ and occupy much of our Thoughts; also the
"offices" of "Can-we, "Dubbem", and *Howe*" -- Irving Howe. (2x
means:) Upon this twisting "skein" /ends/ thoughts 'deriving' from
