"Telegraphically":
A very serious 'subreption' of Kant the 1st which helps - after a
while - in understanding the British attitude to 'civil order' - "Are
you you? Is it you? So you are."
*Of course* Evans and McDowell were friends. Of course it went
poorly. /Of course/ one shouldn't 'pry'. 'My girlfriend understands
this' etc. Funny.
You're not. Evans, McDowell,
Or funny.

The "adventitious ness" of Karel Lambert's "free logic" (not necessary
for explaining Frege's true scry of *tiefe Struktur*) helped
"reinforce" this, I guess, by bringing conditions to a "pass" rather
than a "stand". *Serious*: in fact the *idioma* are /not/ completely
interconvertible and so the "song" remains the same while percepts and
concepts *multiply*. They do. They do do this. Do do do do do do do.
Etc. It's a fine thing to read, *The Varieties of Reference*, though
rather 'spensive in terms of "availability and pricing" - but really,
one ought to have /already had/ one's own thoughts upon these topics
and GOODSHOW is essentially the only thing that can be said as regards
the *Rechtfertigung* of evanescent mental quantities.
