Red Ensigns in The Place, I'm Callin' Out To 'Ya' -
There Never Was a "City Kid" *Truer And Truer*

----

Anyhow, It's Like This: *Heidegger's* Being and Time is the *greatest
work of modernist philosophy ever* - a caramel chocolate swirl of
subrepted *Phenomenologica* and What Ever - congealed into a steaming
hunk of "socializing funk" - suitable to the Occasion Any *encontree*
in any Metropole - And Beyond. 'Heidegger's-annoying-tic' of hendidays
was Second International *chic* - but After The War, it was a Love
Unspoken and more-or-less unaccounted-for, from which faux-theological
congealing of Kant-Obvious *and* Benjaminian *sanite* incepit: and if
you think you *don't* love inappropriately employed Latinisms - you
don't, you don't - You Are Right but take a look around at the *Da*
and the [hush] *Dort*. Freuuudd sucks, 'Freud' /fucks/, and you're
just "right there" Living Your Life at Any Cost Necessary [*periode*
sans period] so: *Dig This*.

"O'course" ['uhh...'] the *Macquarrie-and-Robinson* translation of
*B&T* [A Product, Really] was adequate 'Anglo-Creep' rendering of the
*pointes majeur* of Martin H., lately "come a cropper" but still
*bulking large* on the Minds of "Europeanity": adequate to the
purposes of *Harper and Row* sans phrase, and the American Readership
by *their damn selves* for many a de'cade; however, there were always
*infelicities* in the text: to wit, "munged" (a technical item this)
footnotes and inadequate explanation of the purposes of the book - in
the recent *paperback* edition (reducing the "talismanic" value of the
work, if the price not-by-much) corrected by a *careful-enough*
introduction by a "Taylor Carman" writing *quite unlike* the Columbia
professor and a "modernist classicist" re-working of said *footnotes*
(sure they is).

----

That's how it is. If you have a "bone to pick" as regards - p'haps -
this piece of "Nazistica" being made a-vailable to pliable mindes by a
"legit" publisher - /as well you might no matter who you are/ - pick
it not with the ILWU-claimin' Sam Cannon, /latterly/ of Powell's Books
Portlande, who made the true *Fetish* the Max Niemeyer Ed. Whatever
*Sein und Zeit* available (just watch me *now*) in paperback, thusly
saving neither "The Republic" nor Impressionable Young Minds. Also:

2022 Update: What do people think of the "Jeff Malpas" books?
So, as per usual it's probably the case that Heidegger's philosophy is "still a thing" while certain "attempts" on the problem of you eventually are not. (Usually works out that way.)
